Head of Procurement – Strategic Ops & Cost Intelligence Role Title: Head of Procurement – Strategic Ops & Cost Intelligence Location: Mumbai Experience Required: Last 5–8 years in procurement, finance, or vendor management (preferably in marketing, tech, or production firms) Reports To: Head of Finance Job Description: We are looking for a strategic, detail-obsessed, and operations-savvy individual to lead the procurement function at Schbang. This role involves building the procurement department from scratch, setting up processes, centralizing vendor relationships, reducing cost inefficiencies, and driving vendor performance across all verticals including Admin, Shoots, SaaS Tools, and Travel. Key Responsibilities: ● Lead procurement setup and strategy across all verticals ● Build a centralized vendor database with contract & cost intelligence ● Establish SOPs for procurement request, approval, documentation, and renewal ● Negotiate with vendors and ensure cost competitiveness ● Collaborate with Finance and Legal for compliance ● Publish monthly procurement & cost insight reports Requirements: ● Proven experience in vendor negotiations and cost control ● Excellent understanding of rate benchmarking and cost analysis ● Strong cross-functional communication and documentation skills ● Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Drive) ● Preferably has worked in or with creative, media, or production environments Show more Show less
