Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Fashion Designing Head (Female) who has in-depth experience and passion for women’s westernwear. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of fashion silhouettes, garment construction, fabric selection, and seasonal collection planning. This role requires leadership ability, design innovation, and an eye for current global fashion trends.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the fashion design department and oversee end-to-end design development.
• Research, conceptualize, and design seasonal collections for women’s westernwear focusing on trendy silhouettes.
• Create mood boards, color palettes, sketches, and design presentations.
• Guide sampling and prototyping process and work closely with pattern masters and merchandisers.
• Ensure alignment of design ideas with brand identity and customer preferences.
• Supervise fittings, fabric selection, draping, and finishing of garments.
• Stay updated with international fashion trends, styling elements, and upcoming design innovations.
• Collaborate with marketing and production teams for campaign planning and launch strategies.
• Train junior designers and interns and maintain a structured workflow in the design studio.
• Deliver high-quality collections within timelines and cost parameters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or a reputed fashion institute.
• 3–5 years of experience in women’s westernwear designing, preferably in silhouettes-based garments.
• Strong command over garment construction, fabric knowledge, and design detailing.
• Excellent sketching, draping, CAD, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CLO 3D (optional).
• Good communication skills and team leadership qualities.
• Immediate joiners only; only female candidates will be considered.
