Hardware & Networking Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with desktop systems, networking components, and IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operation across the organization. Key Responsibilities: · Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, and related hardware and software. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity, desktop performance, and network access. · Install, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. · Support and monitor firewall configurations to ensure network security. · Assist with server administration tasks, including backups, updates, and performance monitoring. · Set up and manage CCTV systems, ensuring proper operation and security compliance. · Manage and troubleshoot network switches and related networking equipment. · Diagnose and resolve basic to complex networking issues to maintain optimal network performance. · Document technical issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures. · Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system reliability and efficiency. Key Skills and Knowledge: · Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, configurations, and troubleshooting. · Proficiency in desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software support. · Hands-on experience with printer setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. · Knowledge of firewall management and basic security protocols. · Familiarity with server hardware, operating systems, and administrative tools. · Experience with CCTV systems installation, configuration, and maintenance. · Solid knowledge of network switches, VLAN configurations, and port management. · Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. · Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CCNA) are preferred. · Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT and from Noida NCR location Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Application Question(s): Please confirm current salary and notice period.
