French Tutor

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver individual or group French language lessons, both online and in-person (as applicable), tailored to the client's level and goals.
• Prepare students for language proficiency exams such as TEF Canada or TCF Canada.
• Assess students’ current language proficiency and develop customized learning plans.
• Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and the academic coordinator.
• Assign homework and practice material to reinforce in-class learning.
• Stay up-to-date with exam formats and immigration language requirements (CLB/NCLC benchmarks).
• Utilize interactive tools, worksheets, and digital resources to make learning effective and enjoyable.
• Track attendance, maintain records, and ensure timely course completion.
• Offer language support and coaching for clients in immigration-related scenarios (e.g., interviews, documentation, or settlement preparation).
• Contribute to curriculum development and content creation as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in French (C1 or higher).
• Prior experience teaching French, preferably for TEF/TCF or DELF/DALF exams.
• Bachelor’s degree in French, linguistics, education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (DELF/DALF examiner status, Alliance Française training, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Familiarity with Canadian immigration language benchmarks (CLB/NCLC levels) is desirable.
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
• Passion for teaching and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
