Formulator

develops and optimizes product formulas across various industries like Agriculture , Animal Nutrition and Sericulture.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate new products and improve existing formulations by evaluating raw materials, conducting stability studies, and performing compatibility testing
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of formulation procedures, including batch records, standard operating procedures, and quality control records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and successful commercialization of new products
• Conduct thorough analysis of data and provide recommendations to management regarding optimization of formulations, processes, and equipment
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to formulation development, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Train and mentor junior formulators and laboratory technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in formulating products, preferably in the Fertilizer, Agriculture Micro Nutrient, Animal Nutrition & Supplement Sericulture disinfectant industry
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, their properties and interactions
• Ability to develop and optimize formulations for various product types, including creams, lotions, serums, etc.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for product formulation and labeling
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹9,859.96 - ₹42,572.38 per month
