Forensic Investigator

Location: Gurgaon, Sector 58 (In Office)

Open for Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore location as well for remote work from there.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Forensic Investigation Specialist to support the identification, investigation, and resolution of suspected fraud, misconduct, data breaches, or policy violations within the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in forensic investigation, due diligence, or fraud analysis and must possess a keen eye for anomalies, patterns, and root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting end-to-end investigations into incidents involving financial fraud, data tampering, policy violations, and other internal misconduct.
• Perform forensic analysis of devices, email systems, logs, and databases to uncover evidence.
• Support in data collection, preservation, chain-of-custody documentation, and reporting in line with industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, Legal, HR, and Compliance to support investigations.
• Prepare clear and concise investigation reports with findings, impact, and recommendations.
• Participate in root cause analysis and suggest controls to mitigate recurrence of similar incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all investigations.
• Stay updated with tools, trends, and best practices in forensic investigation and cyber-fraud detection.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in forensic investigation, internal fraud investigation, due diligence, or audit support.
• Experience in corporate investigation or internal audit support.
• Exposure to cybercrime investigation or fraud analytics.
• Familiarity with forensic tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of data privacy laws, evidence handling procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical, observational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
