Key Responsibilities:

• Farmer Communication & Engagement:

• Engage with existing farmers under the

  rupiya.app

  ecosystem to explain the

  Residue-Free Farming Program

  , its benefits, and expectations.

• Farm Onboarding:

• Collect required data and

  digitally onboard farms using satellite-based tools

  . Ensure accurate geotagging and crop information capture.

• POP Implementation Monitoring:

• Conduct

  regular farm visits

  to ensure adherence to the

  Package of Practices (POP)

  provided for residue-free cultivation.

• Crop Advisory & Issue Reporting:

• Identify and report

  crop health issues, pest/disease outbreaks, or deviations

  to the Agronomist team for immediate resolution.

• Record Keeping:

• Maintain updated field visit logs, farmer feedback, compliance checklists, and photographic documentation.

• Training Support:

• Assist in organizing training programs or awareness sessions for farmers on GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and pest management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of field experience, preferably in banana and/or turmeric cultivation.
• Good understanding of crop cycles, common pests, and disease management in

  banana and turmeric

  .
• Ability to use

  mobile-based apps

  and basic digital tools for farm monitoring.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and communicate with farmers effectively.
• Must be proactive, organized, and passionate about sustainable and residue-free farming.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluency in

  Marathi and Hindi

  is essential.
• Basic understanding of English is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

• Must be

  willing to travel extensively

  within Nanded and nearby cluster villages.
• Must have a

  smartphone and a valid two-wheeler license

  .
• Preference will be given to

  immediate joiners

  .

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience + travel allowance + performance-linked incentives.
