Executive Creative Director - Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) - Public Company APAC


Our Client is a publicly traded Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company recognized for its commitment to innovation, quality, and consumer satisfaction. They are seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive Creative Director to lead and inspire our creative teams in crafting compelling brand narratives and driving impactful design strategies.


As the Executive Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision for our diverse portfolio of brands. You will lead a talented team of creatives, guiding them in developing breakthrough campaigns, packaging designs, and visual experiences that resonate with our target audiences and elevate our brand presence in the market.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide strategic creative leadership, setting the overall vision for the creative team and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, inspiring the team to push creative boundaries.
  • Develop and articulate the creative vision for each brand within the portfolio, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative strategies with marketing, product development, and sales objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, including art directors, designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
  • Provide guidance on creative concepts, ensuring that they align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Oversee the conceptualization and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring they effectively communicate brand messages and values.
  • Review and approve creative materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality
  • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of creative projects.
  • Engage with senior leadership to present and communicate creative strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to inform creative strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Creative Director or in a similar executive-level creative leadership role within the CPG industry.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing a track record of successful, high-impact creative campaigns and projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into creative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of design, branding, and consumer behavior within the CPG sector.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Design, Marketing, Communications).
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in creative leadership roles within the CPG industry.
  • Previous experience in a public company is preferred.
