Estimation Engineer -Oil & Gas

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the estimation and costing domain, specifically within the Oil & Gas, EPC, water treatment, Biogas, process / chemical plants, desalination, manufacturing or renewable energy sectors. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with RFQs, P&IDs, PFDs, Excel, drawings, vendor coordination and tender documentation, and have the ability to generate accurate cost estimates for various engineering packages and turnkey projects. Major Roles & Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for GAS LAB offerings for, CO2 plants, N20 plants, Storage and dosing systems, merchant plants, process house, pressure vessels, biogas systems. Analyse technical documents, P&IDs, drawings, specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to prepare estimations. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain relevant inputs for estimation. Develop and maintain estimation templates, pricing databases, and historical cost records. Prepare BOQ / BOM, cost breakdown structures. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for timely and economic quotes to meet estimation requirements. Prepare commercial proposal documentation as per client/tender requirements. Perform cost comparison analysis. Attend pre-bid meetings Maintain daily MIS and meet work timelines set by the RM Tools Expertise / Skills / Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel and Word skills are a must. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, or any graduate having proven experience in estimation field. Experience: Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in estimation for Oil & Gas, EPCs, Biogas, water/wastewater, or renewable sectors. Technical Skill Set: Understanding of P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical documentation Understanding of Fabrication and assembly of skids, tanks, piping systems Mechanical and electrical equipment costing Experience with modular plant/skid design and cost estimation Understanding of procurement cycles and vendor interactions.
