Environmental Officer

Location: Madurai Department: Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Experience: 2–4 years in environmental compliance or EMP-related activities Gender: Open to both Male and Female candidates Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering Salary: 20,000 Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and committed EMP Executive to oversee the implementation and monitoring of Environment Management Plans at our industrial and project locations across Madurai, Theni, Dindugul, Viruthunagar and Sivagangai. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with environmental norms and contribute to sustainability and pollution control efforts. Key Responsibilities: Implement and regularly monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) on site. Conduct environmental assessments, including air, water, soil, and noise monitoring. Ensure compliance with TNPCB, CPCB , and MoEF regulations. Maintain up-to-date records and submit timely reports to statutory authorities. Coordinate with project and safety teams to address environmental risks. Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on environmental practices. Assist in EIA report preparation and documentation for environmental clearances. Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and disposal practices. Key Skills Required: Sound knowledge of EMP, EIA, ISO 14001, Hazardous Waste Rules , and environmental laws. Ability to interact with pollution control boards and environmental auditors. Strong report-writing, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency in Tamil and English . Willingness to travel locally within the assigned districts.
