Company Description We offer coding courses to kids from the age 5 to 17. Unlike most 'Coding' classes, Codeyoung's main focus is developing the most hands-on curriculum with distinct learning goals. Our sessions are very interactive and student-centric, unlike traditional teacher-centric models. Codeyoung fosters an engaging and supportive environment for young learners. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Maths Online Mentor, specifically for the US shift. The Maths Online Mentor will be responsible for delivering interactive and student-centric mathematics lessons. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting live online classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and problem-solving skills Experience in online teaching and creating engaging lesson plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with online teaching tools and technology Patience, flexibility, and passion for teaching math to young learners Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field Prior experience in mentoring or tutoring preferred Show more Show less
