Job Description

• ead the entire engineering function including product design, process engineering, tooling, and new product development (NPD).
• Provide technical leadership in gear design, materials, heat treatment, and manufacturing technologies.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies aligned with business goals for cost, quality, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, sales, R&D) for timely and efficient project execution.
• Drive design validation, process capability studies, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to customer specifications, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, automation solutions, and digital manufacturing tools.
• Develop engineering talent through mentoring, training, and succession planning.

Previous Experience

• Minimum of 10 years in quality department at a gear manufacturing plant
• Knowledge of gear quality parameters
• Knowledge of heat treatment processes
• Has experience in new product development.
• Has previously worked in the field of automotives
• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools , SPC , MSA , PPAP , FMEA

Other

• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word/excel etc
• Versatile and adaptable to take on new challenges and experiences
