Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1 year of experience to provide first-level technical support to internal users. Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
• Installing and maintaining operating systems and business software.
• Providing basic user assistance and training on common applications.
• Performing routine maintenance and system performance checks.
• Assisting with software updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
• Monitoring systems and supporting data backup and recovery tasks.
• Maintaining accurate records of service requests and resolutions.
• Collaborating with senior IT staff and escalating issues as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6 months to 1 year of desktop/IT support experience.
• Familiarity with Windows/macOS, basic networking, and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
