Job Description

Glades Hotel Mohali is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Human Resource Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for two hotels. The HR Manager will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The ideal candidate should have experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and bring a strategic approach to workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Lead the recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Ensure staffing levels meet operational demands
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Foster a positive working environment aligned with Glades Hotel values
  • Address employee grievances and manage disciplinary procedures
  • Conduct periodic employee satisfaction surveys and propose action plans
  • HR Operations:
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HR documentation
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and performance evaluations
  • Manage payroll coordination and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.)
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for staff development
  • Monitor effectiveness of training programs and employee progress
  • Policy & Compliance:
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs in line with hospitality standards and labor laws
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Performance Management:
  • Implement and maintain an effective performance appraisal system
  • Support departmental heads in setting KPIs and evaluating outcomes
  • Employee Welfare & Benefits:
  • Ensure timely administration of employee benefits and welfare programs
  • Handle employee engagement activities and celebrations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or service sector
  • Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience in hotel/hospitality industry HR
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and staff roles
  • Positive, approachable, and proactive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
