I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title

II. JOB PURPOSE

To ensure smooth services in the hospital and take care of Inpatients.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • Assessing and diagnosing patients to determine if and what kind of treatment they may need.
  • Meeting with the families of patients to keep them updated on the patient's condition.
  • Keeping records of patients, their diagnosis and medical history in NICU.
  • Writing prescriptions for patients for all needed medication.
  • Filling out all paperwork involved in each process.
  • Teamwork with nurses, technical staff, other doctors and any medical students in the workplace.
  • Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments, and monitoring the patients' progress in NICU.
  • Performing basic administrative and business tasks, attend the outside camp, writing prescriptions, and filling out paperwork.
  • To be available for emergency calls.
  • To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge.
  • Keep detailed records of procedures.
  • Filling out all paperwork involved in each process.
  • To keep updated with latest research & treatment techniques in the field of NICU.
  • To attend emergencies as per institution's protocol and to ensure the department is suitably equipped at all times.
  • To assist in ensuring quality of performance of the department, ensure optimum utilization of resources by him/her and subordinates, complaint redressal of patients, ensure quality of treatment & services, sterilization and accuracy during the various diagnostics & procedures and eliminate/minimize errors therein.
  • To supervise & train all nursing/technical assistants of the department.
  • To ensure cost effectiveness of the operation of the department.
  • To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.

  • Confidently handle medical responsibilities independently without errors or complaints.

MBBS, MD (Pediatrics), DM (Neonatology)

Experience

3+ Years
