Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Chartered Accountant / CMA located on-site in Kolkata. The professional will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, performing audits, handling tax planning, and providing strategic business advice. The role involves working closely with clients to understand and address their financial needs, and staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Audit & Assurance, including statutory, internal, tax, and GST audits
• Proficiency in Direct Taxation tasks such as ITR filling, tax planning, assessments, and appeals
• Experience in In-Direct Taxation activities including GST registration, returns, and assessments
• Knowledge of Corporate Law matters including company incorporation, compliance, and SEBI regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CA/CMA qualification is required
• Experience with valuation, RBI, NBFC matters, and forensic audits is a plus
