CCTV & Alarm Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and related security equipment
• Perform network setup, troubleshooting, and optimization for security systems
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of security devices
• Ensure seamless integration of security systems with existing network infrastructure
• Provide technical support and maintenance services post-installation
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in security technology
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure efficient project execution
• Train customers on system usage and provide necessary documentation
• Maintain records of installations, service requests, and troubleshooting activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Networking, Electronics, IT, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in installing CCTV and alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of IP cameras, DVR/NVR setups, access control systems, and alarm door systems
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP), routers, and wireless security setups
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in security systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple client projects
• A valid driver’s license (preferred) for on-site visits
