Role Description Role Title Quality Assurance Lab In-charge Role Purpose Managing & Testing of Fiber Optical passive products.( Reliability and FAT test) Managing & testing of FIber optical passive products as per International standards. What the role entails (Key Responsibilities) (Indicative –The role is bigger) Experience in performing Factory acceptance test of FIber optical passive products. Execute the test and / or inspection of the product based on drawing, BOM, as per International standards etc. Ned to Perform the TPI (Third party inspection) test as per customer requirements. Carry out the inspections, measurements, tests that are required to determine the conformity of the material or product manufactured as per the product qualification requirement. Ensure that Test results are timely and reliable. Maintain the equipment is with Up-to-date calibration, tested product identification, good material handling. Constant improvement or reinvestment incorporating best practices for a new systems and current system enhancements. Experience in NABL related testing would preferred. Retraining and providing support in the different areas according to the needs of the company. Products statistical test and / or inspection data to help determine and maintain product quality and reliability using Quality Control procedures. You can prepare the Product Discrepancy report. Notify your immediate superior of any deviation from the established quality standards. Train personnel from other areas in testing tasks when these are required. Performs other tasks as needed. What we are looking for in you (Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility) Should have to manage reliability testing in Fiber Optic Interconnecting devices. Knowledge on Fiber Optic Interconnecting devices ( Manufacturing, quality). Should have to capable of TPI ( Third party inspection). Knowledge of the use of Optic Measurement Equipment and Tools, testing instruments (IL-RL Meter, Environmental chamber, Impact test, IP test etc.) Knowledge of the use of Patch Cord inspection tools (IL/RL Meter, Visual Scope, and Interferometer etc.) Knowledge of the use of Patch Cord reliability testing tools (Bend test, tensile test, impact test, torsion test, flexure test etc.) Intimate familiarity with ISO9000/TL9000 Quality Systems with implementation or other applicable professional experience. Familiar with NABL testing or certification would preferred. Working knowledge of basic and/or advanced Quality tools such as; 7QC, FMEA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Poke Yoke, Kaizen Lean Manufacturing etc Experience with developing/documenting procedures. Use of Quality Engineering methods in inspection. Ability to coordinate with teams across departments and/or cross functional personnel. Ability to articulate (verbally & in writing), defend and negotiate Quality expectations with internal and external customers. Ability to drive technical and cultural changes where required. Description: Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory instruments through regular calibration and preventive maintenance. This role involves the daily verification of key instruments, such as balances, pH meters, and Milli-Q water systems, as well as monitoring environmental conditions like temperature. The analyst will perform chemical and instrumental analyses (including Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, AAS, etc.) to support R&D and production processes, ensuring product quality at various stages of development and manufacturing. Ensuring data integrity in all laboratory activities. Essential Functions: Perform the calibration and preventive maintenance of the instruments as per the respective schedules. Perform the determination of KF factor, Daily verification of Balances, pH meter, Milli-Q water system, Hygro meters, Refrigerator temperature monitoring . Perform the in-process/ intermediate/ finished products analysis by Wet/ Chromatography techniques for R&D/ Plant support. Chemical/ instrument analysis (i.e. Wet/ HPLC/ GC/ AAS/ ICP-MS, etc.) Perform the Impurity standard/ working standard/ primary reference standards To maintain cGMP and Data integrity.
