IDC Global Pvt Ltd is headquartered in Bangalore, India and is a company originally established in 2016.

As part of its portfolio of brand the company has multiple brands, namely Magari, Yavanika & Treelight Design.

Magari & Yavanika are currently present in Bangalore and Hyderabad with each store being over 10,000sqft and are going to continue to expand their presence across the country.

Magari currently retails Furniture, Kitchens & Wardrobes and also has Fabric & Furnishings in its stores retailed under the name of Yavanika. Treelight Design is amongst the leading Architecture & Interior Design firms in the country who`s projects range across residential, commercial, hospitality, F&B and retail.

Overview:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing growth opportunities in existing and new markets that will help increase the revenues of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating new opportunities in the existing markets, entering new areas and markets, and creating and fostering partnerships for future long-term success. She/he should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, creating and sustaining business relationships, negotiating deals and outperforming the competition.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the below regions:

  • Karnataka
  • Telangana
  • Andhra Pradesh

She/He will not be limited to these regions and will be given the additional responsibility of any other region the organization chooses to introduce itself in or sees opportunity in.

Reporting to the Head - Projects, she/he will work to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities within the organization are met.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, customers, partnerships, products & services or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Seek and meet the appropriate contact & decision maker within any firm or organization.
  • Generate leads and meet with customers/clients to help foster relationships.
  • Understand the needs of your customer to be able to respond effectively and service them better.
  • Increasing the value of the current customers while attracting new ones
  • Creation of sales pipeline and opportunities to increase sales of the business.
  • Identifies & facilitates opportunities for sales and works closely with the project team to facilitate requirements that directly affect sales.
  • Consistent engagement and interaction with key figures to ensure that relationships are nurtured and maintained.
  • Have thorough knowledge about the business and its products and be able to advise others about them.
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the Head of Projects to drive revenues.
  • Carry out initial discussions and negotiations with customers.
  • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships to best serve clients.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience of 4+ years with a proven track record of achievement.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical & quantitative skills and the ability to use data to make recommendations & take necessary actions.
  • Strengths in client servicing, negotiation, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, and ability to multitask.
  • Good knowledge of planning and sales.
  • Ability to flourish with minimum guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

The role will require the candidate to travel on a regular basis to all the locations where the company has retail presence and to other locations of opportunity for the company to expand its business interests.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
