AWS Infra Engineer

Job Description

3-8 years hands-on AWS, DevOps, Terraform, Linux experience (RHEL / CentOS or Debian preferred), Python. 3+ years of relevant work experience in a high-volume and/or critical production service environment. Should have good hands-on experience in Python, Shell script, CloudFormation and Terraform development Solid understanding of AWS Cloud and other Amazon provided services and products Strong networking and cloud computing fundamentals Experience with Agile SCRUM development methodologies, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Strong ability to document standards, methods and produce drawings of systems and applications Good to have SRE knowledge and it's related experience Good to have AWS certified professional. Working Knowledge of AWS Data pipeline architecture and design Good to have experience with automation tools such as Puppet or Chef Exceptional team work as well as being able to work as an individual contributor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Should have strong analytical/problem solving skills Roles and Responsibilities 1. Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. 2. Manage and monitor AWS resources to ensure high availability and performance. 3. Automate provisioning and configuration of AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. 4. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS services. 5. Implement security best practices for AWS environments, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. 7. Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through efficient management and performance tuning. 8. Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and features to leverage new opportunities for improvement. 9. Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for operational consistency. 10. Provide support and mentorship to junior engineers and team members in AWS technologies and best practices.
