Role overview

As a Cloud Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing assessment of

existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to Google and AWS cloud. Your

responsibilities will involve planning, delivering, and implementing application and

database migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using public cloud

technologies.

Responsibilities

● Lead end-to-end cloud migrations from AWS/MSAzure/On-premises to

GCP/AWS.

● Assess databases and applications for migration readiness using discovery

and inventory tools.

● Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable,

high-performance solutions on AWS and GCP.

● Build database architecture plans and perform heterogeneous DB migrations

(Like RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, NoSQL, MS SQL, Postgresql ,MySQl, Oracle).

● Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and

develop migration strategies.

● Conduct technical workshops to support pre-sales efforts.

● Communicate project status, challenges, and milestones effectively to

internal and external stakeholders.

● Provide post-migration support and optimization.

● Mentor junior team members throughout the migration process.

● Manage and monitor cloud migration projects to ensure successful delivery.

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

● Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

(mandatory).

● Lead cloud migrations from AWS/MSAzure to GCP/AWS. Expected to be

an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

● Hands-on experience for assessing applications and databases for

migration feasibility using AWS Database and Server migration

services and tools.

● Designed secure, scalable cloud architectures.

● Performed heterogeneous database migrations for RDS, Aurora,

DynamoDB, NoSQL, MS SQL, Postgresql ,MySQl, Oracle, etc.

● Implemented S3, Block, File, NAS Storage and backup solutions.

● Translated business needs into technical solutions.

● Conducted pre-sales architecture level technical workshops.

● Provided post-migration support and optimization.

● Mentored team members.

● Skilled in time management, project communication, and

problem-solving.

● Strong customer interfacing, stakeholder management and escalation

management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹441,547.49 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
