12 - 15 Years 2 Openings Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Trivandrum Role description We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with over 12 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data solutions (preferably AWS), big data technologies, and modern data lake architectures. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data solutions, including modernizing legacy ETL and ingestion systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead architecture, design, and engineering of scalable data platforms and solutions in AWS Cloud and Big Data environments. Define technical direction and roadmap for cloud data migrations and modernizations. Architect and implement data warehousing solutions using AWS services like Glue, Lambda, EMR, and Redshift. Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and extensible data solutions. Create POCs, demos, and automation scripts leveraging reusable components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements. Document solution designs and artifacts (HLD, LLD, diagrams, STTM, etc.). Guide and mentor teams on cloud data architectures and best practices. Work on production-grade projects handling Terabyte to Petabyte-scale data. Apply DevOps and Agile principles for continuous integration and delivery. Educate customers and teams on architectural techniques and cloud technologies. Must-Have Skills & Experience: 12+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering. Proven technical leadership in data platform modernization and cloud migrations. Strong knowledge of AWS services (compute, storage, serverless, etc.). Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift. Minimum 5 years in data warehousing and modern data lake architecture. Minimum 5 years working with Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, MongoDB. Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and managing large-scale datasets. Practical experience with designing and maintaining production-grade data solutions. Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and data ingestion pipelines. Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
