It provides degree and diploma courses of hotel management, cruise management & airport management. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor for the Food & Beverage Service Department. The ideal candidate will bring academic excellence and practical industry experience to teach, mentor students, and contribute to the advancement of the program. This role involves curriculum development, instructional delivery, research, and active participation in departmental and institutional activities.

Role Description

• Teach undergraduate and diploma courses in Food & Beverage Service, Restaurant Operations, Hospitality Management, or related subjects.
• Develop and update course content, teaching materials, and practical training modules in line with industry standards.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and practical training in food & beverage service labs or training restaurants.
• Collaborate with industry partners to enhance student learning through guest lectures, workshops, and field visits.
• Support and mentor students in academic and career development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a closely related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the college/university level or equivalent professional experience in food & beverage operations.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, beverage management, food safety, service styles, and hospitality technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with instructional technology, online teaching platforms, and outcome-based education is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., HACCP, WSET, ServSafe) are desirable.-reviewed journals
