Article Trainee

Responsibilities

• Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
• Preparing working papers, audit documentation, and client presentations.
• Performing vouching, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Understanding and applying relevant accounting standards (Ind AS/AS).
• Ensuring compliance with audit checklists and timelines.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of Income Tax returns (Individuals, Firms, Companies).
• Supporting GST return filings, reconciliations, and assessments.
• Working on TDS compliances, 26AS matching, and form validations.
• Researching case laws, circulars, and tax updates for client matters.
• Attending income tax and GST hearings and liaising with departments under supervision.
• Assisting in incorporation, annual filing, and secretarial compliance of companies and LLPs
• Coordinating with clients and professionals (CS/Lawyers) for legal requirements

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Tally, and other ERP software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Strong understanding of Direct and Indirect Tax concepts.
• Hands-on with tax return utilities and government portals.
• Analytical thinking and time management.
• Basic knowledge of Companies Act, 2013 and LLP Act.
• Single or Both group cleared
