Architectural Draughtsman

Company Overview:

We are an established architectural studio with 8 years of experience based in Mamangalam, Cochin. Our firm handles a range of design projects, and we are now expanding into competition-level design, portfolio development, and technical excellence.

We’re seeking a skilled Architectural Draughtsman with solid experience in permit drawings, MEP coordination, and technical detailing — and someone open to supporting the team with operational or documentation tasks when needed.

Location:

Mamangalam, Cochin, Kerala
Remote work is not applicable.

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary:

₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month
(Final salary will be decided after evaluating performance during 3-month probation period)

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of permit drawings as per Kerala Building Rules
• Drafting of MEP drawings, structural references, and building detail drawings
• Filling and processing in Sanketham and K Smart portals (preference will be given to those with prior experience)
• Supporting architects with accurate, timely drafting work
• Coordinating revisions and updates post site visits or design reviews
• Assisting in submission-ready documentation and file management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience preferred, but talented freshers may apply
• Proficient in AutoCAD, basic SketchUp, and PDF editors
• Strong knowledge in Kerala permit formats, MEP coordination, and building construction details
• Prior experience in Sanketham or K Smart workflows is a strong plus

Bonus Points For:

• Ability to support site measurement drawings and layout coordination
• Familiarity with 3D model referencing for drafting clarity
• Good speed and accuracy in output, with commitment to daily targets

Work Culture & Expectations:

• Work must be completed independently and submitted for review — management will not micromanage tasks
• Must be willing to support teammates or assist with related operational tasks if required for delivery
• Punctuality, responsibility, and clean, organized drafting are essential

Terms & Conditions:

• Probation Period: First 3 months will be treated as probation.
• Final salary will be based on performance and consistency during probation
• Certificate Submission: If selected, the candidate must submit original academic certificates at joining, which will be retained during employment
• Experience Certificate: Will be provided only after 1 year of continuous service with good conduct and proper handover at exit
