Job Title: Admission Counsellor (Only Experienced candidates) Department: Admissions Reports To: Director of Admissions Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: Chandigarh University, Mohali We seek an experienced Admission Counsellor to join our team and help prospective students navigate their academic journeys. Key Responsibilities: Student Guidance: Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess student goals and recommend suitable programs. Application Support: Advise on admission requirements, deadlines, and documentation; assist with application completion. Collaboration: Work with academic departments and financial aid teams to address student needs. Data Management: Maintain accurate applicant records using CRM systems and generate enrollment reports. Market Insight: Stay updated on education trends and competitor programs to refine recruitment strategies. Compliance: Ensure adherence to institutional policies and legal standards (e.g., FERPA). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Communications, or related field. 2+ years in admissions, academic counselling, or student services. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office. Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of admissions processes, financial aid, and enrollment trends.
