Accounts Team Lead

Job Title: Team Lead – Accounts Location: Ernakulam Department: Finance Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Team Lead – Accounts to join our finance team in Ernakulam. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a solid accounting background and leadership experience to oversee daily operations, manage client accounts, and contribute to financial reporting and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills and a proven ability to lead a small team effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily activities of the accounts team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by team members Oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with regulatory and internal standards Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing data collection and addressing queries or issues promptly Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and internal control procedures Support the preparation and finalization of financial statements, tax filings, and related documentation Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter Experience: 2–3 years in accounting or finance-related roles Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in team leadership Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
