Job Title: Accountant – Real Estate & Construction

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Reports To: Finance Manager / CFO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, industry-specific financial practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
• Track construction costs and analyze variances against budget
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment applications
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate financial progress and projections
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits as needed
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, lien waivers, and vendor documentation
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in real estate or construction preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of construction cost accounting and project billing
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
