We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Assistant to support our finance and accounts department. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain daily financial records including cash book, purchase, and sales register. 2. Assist in preparation of invoices, bills, and vouchers. 3. Handle data entry in Tally or other accounting software. 4. Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers. 5. Assist in filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. 6. Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups. 7. Maintain petty cash records and employee reimbursement data. 8. Support the senior accountant in finalization of accounts. 9. Organize and maintain all accounting documents and records. 10. Assist in audit-related work and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. 1–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role preferred. Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting principles. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred: Experience in a service-based or infrastructure company will be an added advantage.
