Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
• Verify and reconcile invoices and payment requests.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams in Japanese and English.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• 4 to 12 yrs bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Certifications:

  JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) certification

  N1/N2

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Japanese business practices and culture.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
