Role Overview: As a 3D Artist Intern, you will contribute to modelling and texturing high-quality assets using Blender for our immersive train simulator project. You will collaborate closely with designers and developers to create lifelike environments, props, and train elements. Responsibilities: Create 3D models of environments, train components, and props using Blender. Apply realistic textures and materials to the models. Optimize assets for real-time rendering in game engines. Work with reference images, blueprints, and concept art to ensure accuracy. Maintain a high level of detail and quality while adhering to performance constraints. Requirements: Proficiency in Blender for modelling and texturing. Understanding of UV unwrapping, PBR texturing, and basic lighting. Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D modelling and texturing skills. Familiarity with substance tools. Good sense of scale, proportion, and realism in assets. Good to Have: Knowledge of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine or Unity). Experience with train or vehicle modelling.
