Job Title: WTP Operator (Water Treatment Plant Operator)

Job Summary:

The WTP Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining water treatment equipment to ensure the consistent and safe supply of treated water in compliance with regulatory standards and plant requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Water Treatment Plant (WTP) equipment including pumps, valves, filters, clarifiers, RO units, softeners, and chemical dosing systems.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity, chlorine levels, TDS, conductivity, etc.
• Maintain logs and records of plant operations, test results, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure proper chemical dosing and maintain stock of treatment chemicals.
• Perform backwashing of filters and regeneration of softeners as required.
• Identify operational problems and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support audits and maintain documentation as per company and statutory requirements.
• Assist in water sample collection and laboratory testing procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for major equipment servicing or repairs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Environment Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years in operation of industrial/commercial WTPs (DM/RO/ETP/STP knowledge is a plus).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
