Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotic & Automation Systems Department: Maintenance / Engineering Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–6 years Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing / Automation Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in robotic assembly systems and industrial automation equipment. The role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of robotic, drive, vision, and control systems through scheduled maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and technical enhancements. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic assembly lines. Ensure long-term equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and resolve issues related to robotic systems and PLCs. Handle communication faults between multiple PLC platforms effectively. 3. Vision System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems used in quality inspection. Ensure accuracy and alignment of camera systems with operational standards. 4. Drive Systems Maintenance Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of Siemens Drives and SEW Drives. Ensure optimal performance and calibration of drive systems in the assembly process. 5. Sensing Devices Install, calibrate, and repair various industrial sensors (proximity, photoelectric, inductive, etc.). Monitor functionality to ensure proper triggering and system response. 6. Electrical Hoists Maintain and repair electrical hoists used in material handling operations. Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with mechanical lifting standards. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field 2–6 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of robotic or automated manufacturing systems Working knowledge of PLC programming and diagnostics (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) Familiarity with industrial sensors, drives, and vision systems Understanding of safety protocols and equipment compliance standards Desired Skills: Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing Analytical and troubleshooting mindset Good communication and team coordination abilities Familiarity with TPM, Kaizen, and 5S practices is an added advantage Benefits: Competitive salary and performance incentives Opportunities for upskilling in automation and robotics Exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technologies Supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement
