Transport In-charge

Job Title: Transport Incharge Location: Namakkal Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and organized Transport Incharge to manage and coordinate all transportation-related activities for our company. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of logistics, vehicle management, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities: Manage drivers, helpers, and transport staff Track vehicle movement and ensure timely dispatch/delivery Maintain transport logs, fuel usage, and trip records Ensure proper maintenance, insurance, and documentation of all vehicles Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety protocols Handle emergency breakdowns and alternate arrangements Optimize transport routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency Requirements: Proven experience as Transport Incharge / Supervisor (2+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and routing Basic computer skills (MS Excel, GPS tracking software, etc.) Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle a team and work under pressure Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Work Location: In person
