Title Product Design and Development Intern

Cre-AID Labs is seeking motivated individuals with a passion for creating impact to join their team as a product design and development intern. In this role, you will collaborate with the R&D department to innovate and enhance products within the medical rehabilitation sector, ranging from orthotic braces to exoskeletons. Your responsibilities will include conducting literature surveys, CAD design and prototyping, testing and analyzing results, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will assist in research studies, paper publications, and streamline product development workflows. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct literature surveys to inform product development. - Utilize CAD software for design and prototyping, including 3D printing and basic electronics. - Perform tests, analyze data, and document findings. - Maintain project documentation and collaborate with healthcare professionals. - Assist in paper writing, publication, and streamlining product development processes. - Engage with the manufacturing division for iterative product improvements. Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Fusion 360. - Strong understanding of engineering principles. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Basic knowledge of electronics, coding, and 3D printing. Desired Skills: - Experience with composites and CAE software. - Basic understanding of project management. - Ability to write grant proposals and compete effectively. Please note that this internship includes an unpaid probationary period of 1 month, with the potential for a stipend of Rs. 5-10k/month based on performance.
