Product Design and Development Intern

Cre-AID Labs is seeking motivated individuals who aspire to make a positive impact. As a product design and development intern, you will collaborate with the R&D department to create innovative solutions and enhance existing products within the medical rehabilitation sector. The projects will encompass a wide range, from orthotic braces to exoskeletons, providing you with a diverse and engaging experience. Additionally, you will be actively involved in research studies, data compilation, and academic publications. Your responsibilities will include conducting literature surveys, utilizing CAD software for design and prototyping, performing tests and analyzing results, maintaining project documentation, liaising with healthcare professionals, managing 3D printers, contributing to paper writing and publications, optimizing product development processes, and collaborating with the manufacturing division to enhance product iterations. The ideal candidate should possess basic proficiency in CAD software, a solid understanding of engineering principles, familiarity with Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal skills, basic knowledge of electronics and coding, and a foundational understanding of 3D printing. Additionally, candidates with working knowledge of composites, proficiency in CAE software, basic project management skills, and experience in grant and competition writing will be preferred. During the initial one-month unpaid probationary period, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and dedication. Following this period, based on your performance, you will receive a stipend ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month.
