Project description Halliburton AutoGS is a provisional name for Halliburton's initiative in automated geosteering during well drilling. The project aims to develop a system capable of independently managing the trajectory of horizontal and directional wells in real time with minimal human intervention. AutoGS combines Halliburtons digital drilling technologies (including the LOGIX platform for autonomous drilling) with intelligent algorithms and sensors integrated directly into the well construction process. The AutoGS initiative fits into Halliburtons broader strategy to develop digital solutions and automate field operations, alongside other efforts such as hydraulic fracturing automation (OCTIV platform) and remote control of surface equipment.
