Team Leader

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless APs. It is essential to have knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies like SD-WAN, NSX, ISE, Cisco ACI, and other OEM technologies like Array/Radware LB, VMware-NSX, etc. You should have a strong understanding of subnetting and be familiar with networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. Experience in the BFSI sector and working in Data Centre environments will be advantageous for this role. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to Application teams, preparing SOPs and documentation, configuring new equipment, maintaining network services and security policies, and implementing acceptable user policies. Monitoring network traffic for potential threats, analyzing network designs, and developing disaster recovery plans are also part of your duties. To be successful in this role, you should hold certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent, with additional certifications in VMware and Load Balancers being beneficial. Expertise in routing protocols, SD-WAN technologies, OEM solutions, network security, and compliance implementation is required. Basic knowledge of Linux OS is preferred along with experience in network monitoring and ticketing tools. Your educational qualification should include a B.Tech / B.E. (IT) / BCA / MCA or equivalent degree. You are expected to have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to enforce user access control and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations. Your role will involve evaluating network designs and providing improvement recommendations while delivering technical support for issue resolution.
