Day-to-day management of the NSX environment & configuration (Distributed Firewall) onthe cloud setup on 24x7x365 basis. Provide Support and update to application teams (Customers of Cloud) through one-to-one interaction, Phone Line, Email and Ticketing too including liaising with application team and provide automated infrastructure data to help optimize the application. Proactive monitoring and Troubleshooting (related to Virtualization, Storage, Network etc) Prepare and maintain quality documentation including Standard Operating Procedures,User Manuals, Run books for infrastructure related to most critical apps, etc Work with bank team to perform Incident Management, Change Management & Problem Management as per bank's processes Backup of NSX configuration and keeping them up to date Replication of NSX configuration and firewall rules at the DR site and ensure that both the sites are in sync Capacity Reporting, Review and recommendations, using automated custom dashboards leveraging vRealize Operations. Patch Management of NSX environment Upgrades Planning and execution, including following a Maker Checker model for all Major Upgrades and Design Considerations Working with VMware, NSX and other OEM/Support teams for Network integration, and rolling out NSX for the cloud environment in line with Network and InfoSec requirements Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes Notify, escalate and communicate to senior management on status of critical service requests, major incidents and changes as necessary. Install, Configure, Manage and Upgrade VMware NSX, o the latest version and in line with the bank requirement, and OEM best practices. Configuring and maintaining VMware advanced Load balancer of the bank.
