Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Strong working knowledge of standard protocols such as SMTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, TCP/IP.
• Technical proficiency with email and the email infrastructure security technologies and networking infrastructure.
• Experience deploying and maintaining an e-mail security appliance Cisco IronPort.
• Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements in Cisco IronPort.
• Experience implementing, migrating, and upgrading Cisco IronPort Email Security Appliance – AMP, DLP, and Encryption a plus
• Knowledge of security specialty areas such as policy, disaster avoidance and recovery planning, technical investigations, or risk analysis in Cisco IronPort.
• Good networking knowledge should have a strong understanding of firewalls and subnetting.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Windows Active Directory (2012/2016) or comparable LDAP technologies.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016) or comparable.
• Troubleshooting and Configuration of O365, Exchange and Active Directory
• In depth understanding of Mailbox object concepts in different exchange versions.
• Standard troubleshooting skills on O365
• Good knowledge in O365/Exchange2016/2013
• Concept of high availability.
• Knowledge on various exchange migrations.
• Knowledge on Onprem Exchange Server rules.
• In-depth knowledge on Exchange Online User Management.
• Good knowledge in PowerShell and scripting and should be able to create small scripts when required.
