Role Description - Career Guidance Officers

This is a part-time remote/hybrid role that involves setting up your own innovative International Career Centre. Through this centre, you would offer career planning and mentoring for school and university students and young professionals.

You will also provide opportunities to teenagers to attend career immersion programs at the world's best universities including the likes of Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, NUS, Sydney, and Tokyo universities, along international skill development and competitions for students from Grades 6 - 12, an exciting educational project managed exclusively by iQuery Australia in India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

You will be responsible for teaching/managing an international curriculum provided to prepare students for the online world competition and potentially for the global finals in the UK or USA.

The other responsibilities include:

• Supporting initiatives in reaching out to parents and students who are keen to improve their English and Math skills
• Providing preliminary career education to students as appropriate.
• Establishing English and Math clubs at partner educational institutions.
• Effectively communicating with students and colleagues and adapting educational materials to suit diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching
• Experience in Education and Training
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in virtual or remote teaching environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in education, a related field, or relevant teaching certification
