Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a talented Storyteller to enrich the narrative and content curation of our YouTube channel at Josh Talks. This role requires collaboration across content creation, marketing, and production teams to significantly elevate the presence and impact of Josh Talks.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft engaging narratives, content, and marketing materials for Josh Talks.
• Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitor content, and audience preferences to inform content creation.
• Write compelling copy for marketing materials, YouTube video titles, and descriptions to captivate and engage the audience.
• Analyze data to derive insights that inform content and marketing strategies.
• Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with audience interests and content themes.
• Identify, vet, and engage speakers, weaving their stories with the aspirations of our audience.
• Dive deep into audience research to curate content that strikes a chord with their interests and needs.
• Script and direct high-impact talks, optimizing for audience engagement and platform algorithms.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure content is produced to the highest quality.
• Design and iterate on thumbnails and ads to maximize conversions and engagement.

Competencies and Skills Required

• Prior experience in writing effective copies to convey the value proposition and story to the audience to drive conversions.
• Prior experience in analyzing and curating various types of content, both long-form and short-form.
• Prior experience in designing and creating multiple thumbnails and marketing collateral iterations.
• Creative bent of mind to ideate and create multiple variations and interactions to choose the ideal format.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, YouTube Studio, and all Social Media platforms.
• Ability to collect, collate, and structure data into readable and understandable formats.
• Structured thinking and the ability to break down complex problems to understand their drivers, and quantify relationships between input and output data points.
• Strong networking ability to source, qualify and bring new speakers on board.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of 1 or more years in scriptwriting for YouTube videos.
• Experience and interest in creating content for Bharat (tier-2 and beyond India).
• Intermediate knowledge of tools such as Google Sheets and Forms.
