Sr. Area Sales Manager - IVD Automation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Area Sales Manager to lead our IVD Automation sales efforts in Bengaluru / Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on IVD automation technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a proven ability to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the IVD Automation segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead market expansion initiatives.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with marketing and product development activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and key performance metrics to management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the IVD or medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of IVD automation products and technologies.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
