Software Developer For CIO Developer Tooling

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible to develop and deploy software solutions to make IBM developers more productive and secure.Your Role and Responsibilities:* Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to automate the scanning, approval, and full lifecyle management of open source desktop developer tooling.* Collaborating with cross-functional teams and developer stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.* Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the developed solutions by adhering to best practices and design patterns.* Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.* Designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.* Collaborating with other teams to introduce best automation practices and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.* Embracing an Agile culture and employing relevant fit-for-purpose methodologies and tools such as GitHub and Jira.* Maintaining good communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely on a global scale, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise - Resource should have 5+ years of experience in software development- Proficiency in Python programming language & frameworks- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Experience working with developer tools like GitHub, VSCode, CI/CD pipelines Preferred technical and professional experience - Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB- Experience using & building containers and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift- Familiarity with Micro-services and serverless architectures
