Company Description Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) [AKRSP(I)] is a non-denominational, non-government development organization focused on improving rural communities. Active in over 2500 villages across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, AKRSP(I) has impacted the lives of more than 1.5 million marginalized individuals. Key beneficiaries include tribal, Dalit, and minority communities, with over 60% being women. AKRSP(I) emphasizes empowerment through self-reliant institutions for financial inclusion, livelihood enhancement, and improved governance, alongside sustainable agriculture, education, skills development, and renewable energy initiatives. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a skills trainer/mobilizer/counselor located in Dang, Gujarat. The skill development trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, focusing on life skills and soft skills development. Day-to-day tasks include conducting training sessions, preparing training materials, assessing training needs, and providing feedback. The skills trainer will work closely with the local community to enhance their skills and drive sustainable development. Qualifications Strong Presentation Skills and effective Communication abilities Experience in Training & Development along with Life Skills training Proficient in Soft Skills coaching Ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities Excellent organizational and planning skills Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or related field Experience in rural development or working with marginalized communities is a plus Show more Show less
