Site Supervisor – Geotechnical Works

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Site Supervisor with a background or interest in geotechnical field work to manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate should be able to handle daily site activities and client interactions independently and professionally. Experience in geotechnical projects is highly preferred, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with site workers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Independently manage and oversee site execution related to geotechnical investigations such as soil testing, borehole drilling, trial pits, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of field work, material usage, labor attendance, and daily progress reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with clients to provide updates and resolve any on-site issues.
• Coordinate logistics, equipment, and manpower as per project needs.
• Report to project manager or senior engineer regularly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum education: 12th Pass or above (ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role; experience in geotechnical field work is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and instructions.
• Must be capable of handling site and client independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices and reporting procedures.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites (as needed).
• Must be responsible, punctual, and a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹234,000.00 per year
