Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, or systems to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction. This role involves both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems based on customer needs. Perform routine maintenance checks and upgrades to ensure reliability and performance. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product usage and care. Accurately document service reports, parts used, and time spent on tasks. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during service calls. Coordinate with other departments (sales, logistics, customer service) as needed. Stay up to date with product knowledge, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training. Qualifications: Diploma / BE Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Proven experience in a similar service or repair technician role. Strong mechanical, electrical, or IT troubleshooting skills (based on industry). Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required). Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and work in varying physical conditions. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with [Autocad, Solid works]. Certifications such as [e.g., EPA, ASE, CompTIA] are a plus. Experience with CRM or service management systems. Work Environment: Field and/or workshop setting. Travel to customer locations may be required. Flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.
