SEO Lead

Job Title: SEO Lead (Code: SL1)

Location: Technopark, TVM

Role Overview:

SEO has been pivotal to our company’s success and will remain a key component of our growth strategy. We are seeking a passionate individual who thrives on SEO and is ready to become our SEO hero. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the content team, ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining content quality, and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Establish SEO as a primary growth driver for the company and promote an SEO-first mindset in content development.

• Manage the content team, including implementing workflows, ensuring content quality, and meeting deadlines.

• Recruit and train content creators and junior SEO specialists.

• Own and execute the strategic SEO roadmap for MonkeyPen.com across all target audiences.

• Conduct regular audits, prioritise SEO tasks, and drive their implementation across the website.

• Optimise visibility and indexing with Google to ensure critical content ranks well.

• Refine and implement site and content structures in line with SEO best practices.

• Ensure all content is SEO-ready and regularly updated.

• Stay informed on SEO developments, Google algorithm updates, and best practices, serving as the company’s SEO expert.

• Incorporate AI-powered tools and processes into the SEO workflow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of SEO experience with a focus on technical and on-site SEO.

• Proven experience in managing content and SEO teams.

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute content and SEO roadmaps.

• Hands-on experience with SEO strategy and optimisation for online businesses.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools.
