ABOUT THE ROLE

1. Content Research


  • Use tools like Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, ChatGPT, Perplexity
  • Research keywords, competitors, and angles worth pursuing
  • Understand how content ranks on Google and surfaces in ChatGPT
  • You’ll be expected to

    propose topics

    , not just write what’s assigned
  • If you don’t know cybersecurity/compliance, explain how you'll get up to speed fast


2. Content Creation


  • Write long-form blog content using AI tools where helpful
  • Repurpose into short-form: LinkedIn posts, X threads, Reddit replies, email blurbs
  • Draft video scripts — product explainers, feature overviews, or founder-led snippets
  • Maintain tone that fits B2B startup audiences — clear, direct, never fluffy


3. Visuals, Design, and Presentation


  • Own layout, structure, and polish of all published content
  • Use

    Canva well

    — not basic templates, but production-grade output
  • You should be able to handle:
  • Image cleanup/enhancement
  • Screenshot workflows
  • Graphics, icons, annotations
  • Bonus if you can storyboard or prepare video assets
  • Visual quality matters — if your work looks amateur, it won’t fit


4. Channel + Community


  • Publish via Webflow (blog) and scheduling tools for social
  • Track how content performs and evolves
  • Stay active on LinkedIn, Reddit, X — post, repost, follow-up
  • Keep the content engine moving — it’s your job to keep it visible, not just created
  • No Notion required — we use docs, sheets, simple tools


5. Workflow + Team Fit


  • Work async, independently, and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with founder and SEO lead for feedback
  • Align with brand and founder voice across all content
  • Be open to iterations — launch fast, improve as needed


REQUIREMENTS


  • 2+ years content writing and publishing experience
  • SEO tools: Ahrefs, GSC, GA4 — practical knowledge required
  • AI tools: ChatGPT, Perplexity — used daily
  • Visual tools: Canva (advanced), screenshot tools, image editing, video editing, video creation
  • Strong written structure + design instincts
  • Self-managed, reliable, detail-focused
