Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Kolkata/ Bangalore

Cimba.AI is a Gen-AI-native platform that enables enterprises to create custom adaptive AI agents to generate deep insights and business actions based on internal data and knowledge. The platform utilises self-training artificial intelligence to provide customizable AI agents that analyse data and recommend next steps.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical problems. You’ll lead projects, design scalable systems, and mentor engineers while contributing to our core products and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems, APIs, or front-end interfaces.
Lead end-to-end technical implementation of critical projects and features.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define architecture and deliver high-quality solutions.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize systems.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
Contribute to shaping our engineering culture and best practices.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong proficiency in one or more of: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
Experience designing and building distributed systems or large-scale applications.
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
